Simply the best. Stayed in one of the excellent, clean spacious rooms and had dinner in the pub. I can honestly say that it’s rare to find such an exceptional establishment as this! The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was simply superb, tasty, plentiful and excellent quality. We’ll definitely be returning. Thank you all so much.

Wife & I stayed Friday night and wow soon as you walk in you’re greeted by some lovely and friendly staff that make you feel very welcome. The room we had was lovely and spacious with complementary tea, coffee and biscuits. Very clean, warm and comfortable - had a great peaceful nights rest. We even had a lovely meal, the chef or chef’s they have providing the meals to people deserve 100% credibility. The food was hot and so tasty it melted in your mouth it tasted that good. I would highly recommend having a meal here even if you’re not interested in staying the night. As we stayed the night we had breakfast included within our stay. Again, absolutely amazing, well-presented, hot and delicious. Wife and I didn’t get the ladies name but the mature lady with glasses was amazing - very polite, welcoming and very friendly pleasurable to talk to and again thanks to her for making stay lovely.

Great place to pop into after leaving Woodstock, ample parking and accommodation. Nice selection on the menu, service was welcoming, informative on our choices of drinks and food. Didn't worry when we wanted something completely plain. Food came promptly and was lovely, 2 clean plates when we left! Choice of seating, table or more relaxed by the fireplace. Washroom were nice and clean. We normally pop in here rather than the busyness of Oxford/Woodstock.

What a lovely find. Nick & his team made us feel welcome from the first phone call. There had been a glitch with the system when we made the online booking, Nick sorted it out for us straight away with no hesitation. We had a lovely room with plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and water. Beds were really comfortable, great nights sleep. We had lunch on arrival all of the staff were extremely helpful, cheerful and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and a good choice of continental or cooked. Overall a really great place to stay with very friendly & welcoming staff. Could not fault a thing - thank you.

We recently stayed at Duke of Marlborough and came away thoroughly impressed. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which immediately sets the tone. Check-in was smooth and nothing felt like an effort, a rarity these days. The accommodation itself is excellent. The room was comfortable, well appointed, and clearly maintained to a high standard. Everything worked, everything was clean, and everything was where you’d expect it to be. Dinner deserves a special mention. The menu is well thought out and confidently executed. The pork belly was outstanding, perfectly cooked with crisp crackling and rich flavour. Desserts were equally impressive, properly made rather than the usual afterthought, and a strong finish to the meal. Overall, this is a hotel that gets the fundamentals right. Good people, good rooms, and very good food. We would happily return.

We had the most wonderful stay at this gorgeous pub and hotel. The rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, peaceful, and very comfortable. The pub itself is fantastic, traditional in style, with excellent food and drinks. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. Thank you for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

My friend and I stopped by The Duke of Marlborough to grab some lunch after a lovely morning of trying on wedding dresses! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Jen, who served us! The food was incredible - we both had the mussels which was a very hearty portion too. We shall definitely be back - thank you!

Very pleasant stay when visiting Blenheim palace. Very polite and friendly staff. Excellent food good choice on menu. Breakfast again faultless. Rooms again very nice suited our needs very comfy beds, and very clean. Wouldn't hesitate staying again,many thanks for everything.
